Florida - If you are a commercial property manager responsible for property in Florida now is the time to prepare for the hurricane season. If you have leaks, roofing problems or haven’t had your roof inspected for a number of years, have a commercial roofing company inspect your roof. Many roofing companies will inspect your roof free of charge, and help prevent larger problems from occuring. Ask a commercial roofing company to check equipment on your rooftop and to remove any loose debris as well.

It is the ideal time to prepare your property management staff for the hurricane season. A comprehensive hurricane plan is essential for a commercial property owner. Make sure that your plan includes all tasks needed to be performed for your building(s).

TPO – roofing systems are among the fastest growing commercial roofing systems. Made of an especially durable material with a low-temperature flexibility and a high-temperature tolerance, these roofs are exceptionally resistant to ultraviolet, ozone and chemical exposure.

EPDM – roofing offers superior durability and versatility, making it one of the longest lasting types of commercial roofs available. EPDM commercial roofing systems are also typically easier to install, maintain and repair than most other types of commercial roofs.
Polyurethane Foam Roofing is the most energy efficient, waterproof roofing material available for flat roofs. Coated with white, elastomeric coating, sprayed on polyurethane roofing can last 30–50 years if properly installed and re-coats are applied at 5 years, 25 years, and every 20 years afterwards.

Built-Up Roofing is one of the oldest and most reliable ways of installing a new roof. It was first known as composition roofing and started in the 1840′s. Built-up roofs (BUR) comes in two basic types, asphalt and coal tar. Wrinkles on bur may occur.

PVC roofing membrane is made by a process of heat welding seam technology, which not only allows for one single piece of PVC roofing to cover an entire roof’s surface and eliminate seams and joints, but also provides excellent flexibility.
